Dear Mr. Kissinger:<BR>
<BR>
          I am counsel for Christopher Hitchens and write with regard to certain 
false and defamatory statements published by you concerning my client. 
These statements which have been widely circulated, charge Mr. Hitchens 
as having denied the existence of the Holocaust. When you made these 
statements you knew and should have known that they were utterly false 
and would cause serious damage to Mr. Hitchens.<BR>
<BR>
          My client seeks an apology from you clarifying that he has never 
denied the occurrence of the Holocaust. Prior to my client considering 
his legal options, I suggest that we meet with you and your 
representatives to seek to resolve this matter. At that time, Mr. Hitchens 
and I will present to you the factual details.<BR>
