You know, Mike, there must be something in the air because all last week at work I kept calling last year "1999".
I am a Syberian, who was directed to Obsidian at at the advice of those recommending a follow up, because as you know, no ordinary game will do!(thanks for the tip,c, by the way!).
I am at the Rock, after having met my 'limitations', and I am getting such a kick out of this game! The first night I played it I laughed so hard, wandering up and down all the monitors. That moment alone was worth it!
Not sure if you all are aware of the other outlets for this game and resource material. I am a Yank, so I don't know if this works for all the rest, but if you need resource materials, try:
http://www.half.com (this is ebay, but not the auction site.) search on books category, then "obsidian", of course, and you will find many people selling their manuals.
I bought my copy of the Obsidian, along with the book by Dan Irish on the ebay auction site. ( no I don't own ebay stock...)
Just wanted to say there is still life in Obsidian. Hey, I am proof! Hey, how twisted is this? How many ins and outs of the turnstyle can a mind take, after all!
