: I cannot take off. This is most difficult and can I say frankly very irritating to have such a obtuse puzzle. I am very close to quitting as it seems to me a stupid waste of time. Up to the the point of the Piazza, I thought this was a fun game. But now I find it most tiresome.

I know you're in the Plane, but depending on
where you are in the game, your required actions
are different.

Assuming you have FULLY solved the Church of the
Machine, the Piazza, and the Art Gallery puzzles,
and are now trying to fly to the Frame in the
Sky, you must:

Ccomplete the non-regulation preflight sequence,
using the same process you use to trap Bismuth at
the Piazza. While in the plane:

*Sit in the plane's pilot seat, turn the key,
and flip the control lever on the left to transfer
the plane to machine control.

*You then hear the "Control Voice" issuing
instructions about the preflight sequence. Now
it's time to ignore the instructions to kill
sequence and "play by your own rules" to prepare
the plane for NON-regulation flight.

*Using the same process that you used to trap
Bismuth at the Piazza, trap your opponent on the
preflight check panel (the red light) in a corner.
In this puzzle, you are the green light. To trap
the red light, you have to maneuver so that the
red light's only move is onto the location you
are currently occupying. When you do that, you
win!

Remember the rules of the Piazza: the green light
and red light must alternate moves; neither can
move diagonally and can only move one square (or
in this case, one bulb) at a time; and you must
use an open lamp cover the same way you used
empty squares at the Piazza to steer the movement
of the red light into a corner.

When you've trapped the red light and prepared
the plane for non-regulation flight, Bismuth will
take you to the next (and final) Obsidian Realm.

HOWEVER, IF the "Control Voice" is telling you
that the Frame in the Sky is not a valid
destination, they you may not have completed
everything you need in order to proceed to the
next area of the game. If this is the case,
you may have to go back to the Art Gallery and
flip a switch before you can move on. For more
on this particular action, visit Ryan's Obsidian

Good luck......and let us know how it turns out.
