"The Nurse proves to be a lousy messenger":
In this scene, the Nurse demonstrates in a humorous way how simple communication
can become garbled. She pretends to have bad news, and Juliet notices how
she reports the news "with so sour a face" (line 25). Then, the Nurse stalls,
and does everything she can to keep from telling Juliet the truth. If the
audience were unaware of the truth, this would also qualify as "suspense."
However, under the circumstances, it is merely annoying.
